That is true:That's what happened in 2010 when the (A) should not have run past Euclid with a single-track shuttle between Euclid and Grant Avenue as I would have done it. Likewise, the open cuts lines I would have had re-routed to 95th Street-Bay Ridge with no (R) shuttle since the (N) and (Q) would both be terminating there, as well as possibly the (D) if it were unsafe to use 9th Avenue (which is also why I would do work on the lower level to bring it up-to-snuff so in an emergency it could be used as a terminal). |
