Except Cuomo wound up severely pissing off Wall Street to the point where if he does this again, it could hurt others in House and Senate races in 2016, and not just in New York.

Wall Street is EXTREMELY PISSED OFF right now over this and Cuomo violated Rule #1 of politics with this shutdown. If I'm at the DNC, I'm telling Cuomo if he does this again, he will have to deal with a heavily backed candidate against him in the 2018 Democratic Primary for Governor and he will be considered "persona non grata" in the Democratic Party. Cuomo may have unintentionally hurt the Dems attempt to win back the House and Senate with this in 2016 because of EXTREMELY PO'ed Wall Street is over this, something they will not forget for a long time.
