MSG already got a huge tax break to renovate and because they bitched it was not fair that Barclays Center got one too.One might dispute how much MSG home teams contribute to the local economy. Maybe some fans eat or shop before or after an event. Especially the alcoholic element the Rangers attract who booze up hard before a game so they're buzzed and only need 2 or 3 more beers in the Garden to be totally drunk. But it just seems like everyone is so in a rush to get in and out of that place. Race to LIRR to catch the train. Race to fucked up subways dealing with GO's when event is over. Race to get the car out of parking lot before 10 other people are waiting first. |
