The location is very important.

It has to be accessible to many subway lines and commuter rails.

Moving it to another location could be devastating. Especially now that it competes with four other major venues(Nassau, Barclays, Prudential, and IZOD).

Keep in mind, previous MSG's didn't compete with other venues. Neither did the current one when it was built. But slowly competition crept up.

I see the current location as being very important.
