Yeah I wonder about that myself. The F is standing room only before getting to Roosevelt Ave, but I think there is a bit more demand for the E from my own personal experience with the QB line. I take the M or R (whichever comes first) to Lex every weekday morning. I notice that when the F pulls in next to my local at Roosevelt, a fair amount of people get off, but it's not like a stampede of people running across the platform for the express. But if it's an E that pulls in next to my local, it is a stampede of people running for that E. So there is that. But you must also take into account the ridership on the Brooklyn end of the F, specifically in Park Slope and Carroll Gardens.
