I'll answer that...Basically, I've looked at it, from Jamaica Station and from the Van Wyck Expressway, and said to myself, "bleh, that thing just doesn't do it for me.." I remember (as do most of us on here, I'm sure) when it was built, and I was and remain disappointed that it wasn't done as an extension of the subway or LIRR- either of which I would've loved and definitely railfaned. I rarely fly out of JFK, so other than railfanning, I have no use for it, and since I don't like it, I won't fan it. I'm not going to come up with any logic or justification. I just don't like it. |
