My only reason for opposing Sixth Ave. M service was because I considered it as robbing Peter to pay Paul. NYCT was not giving you both and I pointed it out at the time. I was thrown to the wolves because y'all comprehended what you wanted. Now it seems everybody is missing the old service and wants it back. They don't have the cars.That's ok. It's akin of sombody calling a sports show asking the host who was the better player: Mantle or Mays. If the host answered Mantle, somebody else calls later lambasting the host not giving Mays his due. Of course I want thru Nassau service back. But I know this: NYCT wants to get rid of the R32/42 when the R179's come in. Still not enough cars to extend the J or Z. |
