Do you know if David Rogoff mentioned this in any of his construction history articles? See "Abandoned & Unused Tracks & Tunnels of the IRT" bny David Rogoff, NYD Bulletins April and June 1964. I was there about two years ago and it was still possible to see the abandoned sections of the platforms. Note too the abandoned elevator shafts and the passageway built for connection to a proposed New York Central. The passageway was built and in use but the NYC station was not. Larry, RedbirdR33
