The Wikipedia authors have heard of them in the northeast.The map doesn't illustrate concentrations. The text says "In the United States, they are found mostly in the southeast, the south, and the Midwest." They're an inevitability in Chicago in the summer, but I've never known anyone who got one in New York or New England. |
