Huh??? At Philly 30th they let the single file line down to the platform BEFORE the train arrives, IME, thus allowing you to position yourself along the platform to get a good seat when the train does arrive. It also means you don't need to stand in the line at all. I stay on the benches until the line is almost clear and then I walk right down the stairs to the platform. No harm no foul.And at NYP you can easily and consistently board from the lower level. So there should be problems taking Amtrak between NYC and Philly. So can you explain why you can't solve your problems by doing what I just explained? |
