Those are through streets, which are a lot harder to shut down than a drop-off areas.You mention Chicago. Now go look at Union Station. You get taxis out on Canal Street now, not the traditional taxiway. All the Federal buildings along Dearborn Street are bordered with steel sidewalk pillars. (P.S. - it ain't a Post Office anymore) |
