So now NJT has to replace 1100 ties out of a so-called "abundance of caution". If they rebuilt the former CNJ Southern Division and finished the Waterfront Connection with the same gusto, we could have both MOM commuter service and Atlantic City service, even out of the "red-headed stepchild" of Hoboken Terminal (only takes advertising to remind NYers that it's a brief trip across the Hudson River). |
