You have the early abandonment right but the final runs were in 1962 a helluva way to celebrate my senior year in HS. And the writer got it even worse with the Cabin John Line which went in Dec 60. I lived a mile from the terminal and was not happy losing the lovely route downtown. Sloppy journalism all around--wonder if he got ANYTHING right. |
