If there willing to sent the state of the art R-188s on the initial run, Im sure that somebody guarantees that there will not be any clearance issues. If that car scrapes anything, than scrape the name of the individual that ok'd the trip in the first place off the payroll.

Besides was'nt the IRT locked into dimentions (Height, width, length) from the Low V days till today?? How "innacurate" (different) would Lo V clearence measurements vs R-188 be??

To me, this just seems to be a Bloomy publicity stunt.

Would just love to see the press corps board the train with big gulp sodas!
