Last week I heard that NYCT is recalling retired TO's who are under age 60, and that have been out for the last year to return to work.

How can this be ?

If you retire and start collecting a pension, you can be rehired back to where you earned your pension ?

Once you put in for retirement, you can't un retire, according to the NYS Retirement System.
