Lead time for parts can be up to 180 days depending on the part and the manufacturer. The transit parts market is so competitive that I do not believe that there is a part that cannot be had. There was one guy who came to me on a regular basis to ask what I needed in the way of parts. Before the R-160s were delivered, he had drawings and he was making replacement parts. So from personal experience, I'm telling you that what you say you were told is simply not true. |
