Wasn't there also a time when they were trying to get at least some 8th Ave lines to serve the Brighton, and some 6th Ave lines to serve Ozone Park and the Rockaways?If you have all locals, without exception, that serve West 4th St, "flip" and change mainlines, I believe there are no switching conflicts and so this idea was born whenever it was. |
