ACCORDING TO LION:First train derailed. Second train was close but not quite that close. PAX in first train would have gotten out of their seats, start moving toward end exits and into safer cars. SECOND: not enough time to drop a redball on the east bound. Engineer should have seen the problem and should have begun breaking. His unit took most of the damage on his train derailing it so that the PAX compartment received only a glancing blow. No damage to his space engineer survives. Your impressions may vary, LION suspects that the NTSB will take this one up and details will appear in about two years. ROAR |
