When the Long Island Rail Road operated the Rockaway Branch, there were 5 island station in Jamaica Bay: Howard (not the Howard Beach Station),Goose Creek, The Raunt, Broad Channel, and Beach Channel. These were mostly for sports fishing and resort hotels st the time. |
