IINM, by the late 1940s, MP-54s ruled the roost out on the Peninsula, no?

According to Change At Ozone Park, the last real heavy maintenance the bridge and trestle got was at the start of (for us) WWII in 1941. I'm wondering if this limited the types of equipment operated there in later years...
