If it’s 19th century (pre 1905) it’s wood. LIRR dropped its last wooden coaches in 1927 and they were sold, scrapped or put into work service. A work car could easily become a MOW body on the ROW, especially at a big project. At that point it’s off the roster. When it is worn out as a MOW shack just pushing it over in the fill with no records is easy to envision.
