I'd put them about 2-3 feet from the platform edge,So that now they're useless when it comes to preventing people from being pushed or falling into the track area in the first place? And enough of a distance away from the edge so that if the doors open in front of a railing, the riders can still exit and enter the train. And get stuck within 2 to 3 feet of a train trying to depart. Sounds like fun. At the same time, these kinds of railings do not "lock in" a particular door arrangement upon any of the subway cars. Neither do platform edge doors, despite the continual drivel from this board's members. |
