Why didn't they? Were the cars in that bad of shape?I recall hearing that SEPTA was interested in purchasing some of them to complement the Silverliner IV fleet (and I guess to get rid of some of the Blueliners), but the Arrow IIs were in such bad shape that they decided against it (other than the two cars for the work train, of course). |
