So? Most road freight units are often kept in pairs to avoid long-hod running. If they were no geeps available to go fetch a tank car then some yard foreman would have to dispatch a pair of road engines. Even if that had been a pair of Geeps, the common GP40 still produces 3000hp so a pair would be a mere 6000hp instead of 8800hp.
