If there's a collection taken I'll gladly write a check, but nobody with sufficient organizational authority has either bothered to ask for one or raised sufficient alarm that such checks were needed. Either people don't care (nothing one can do about that), people are dropping the ball or people are handling it. I've been personally told by Philly NRHS folks (at the 2011 Rodeo) that it was being handled. If people are dropping the ball hopefully they will bother to let me and all the other check writers know before its too late. |
