The BQE becomes the Bruckner which has a connection to I 87 In the Bronx, I 80 could be extended into the Bronx and divide off to Van Wyck and terminate at JFK airport so both designations would be more accurate or at least the Wyck can carry an I 95 spur designation. Since I78 never made it into the city the point of having highways carry its spur is strange. |
