OK,lemme see-Lets see where the cars are.We have 80 R-44s that sit unused which COULD allow some older 60 footers to run on the extended "J".There are 8 R-32s sitting at Fresh Pond Yard for what? Going on 3(!)years now.There are 14 R-42s sitting in Pitkin Yard and 12 may still be operable as one pair was partially stripped.I believe there are more R-32s that are stored or retired that can be made operable as well.ALSO,there are at least 10 R-32s that are used as "Refuse Motors" that can be restored to service.Are there any others??? |
