I would have gone that far in explaining it, but I'm so used to eyes glazing over on the first couple of words. :)Dirty heads will indeed make write/read operations even less reliable. Point being simply that those heads HAVE to be kept clean or bad things will happen. Like I said, never had a problem with PATH using MTA's cards. Their vending machines are another story. However 33rd Street had both right there in the vestibule, so I'd put my PATH fare on the meatball card and all was well. |
