CRC only tells you it’s wrong. ECC gets the data back, if there are only a few bad bits.I think the biggest problem is rewriting the data on the card reliably. That’s probably where the operation is most vulnerable to dirty heads. I’m sure that “Swipe again” means the read-after-write failed. |
