Unless they went with Superliner baggage cars being the only baggage cars for Capitol Limited trainsets, the train would run with independent Pennsylvanian and Capitol Limited "sections", which would mean no diner or sightseer lounge for the Pennsylvanian folk. In theory if the Capitol Limited trainset was to use only Superliner baggage cars and placed its transition sleeper on the rear then it could integrate the two halves.BTW I haven't heard anything about this through car plan before now. It seems awfully complicated if you ask me. |
