The headphones at the center of the attack, said to be “Beats By Dr. Dre,” have become an increasingly attractive target, according to police.Most thefts of the pricey headphones, which cost between $300 and $500, are occurring in upper Manhattan and north Brooklyn, police said. God, if you're going to drop that much coin on headphones, there's a hell of a lot better choices. Though seriously, $500 for a set of headphones? That's something you plug into a high end stereo system, not a freaking iPod... (Happy with his $79 Sony MDR-V6s...) |
