No one is going to take a diesel to HPA and then use the subway into GCT when ESA will provide direct LIRR service there. However, terminating diesels at Jamaica during rush hour is practically impossible, since fumigating the trains blocks traffic through it. Once this reality manifests itself, run diesel service to LIC via the Lower Montauk, serving Richmond Hill, Maspeth, and (if the communities want it) Fresh Pond and Glendale. I'd offer a special deal on the service, any ride from LIC to Richmond Hill and vice versa should be priced at the cost of a normal subway/bus ride.
