It would be mainly for use when needed (if for instance the 6th and/or 8th Avenue lines need to be diverted to the SAS because of a G.O.) and also for SPECIAL trains like for instance a special SAS train to/from Yankee Stadium that would ONLY run on game/event days and only for a certain period of time as an extra (and perhaps would have a special "X" designation for such). Otherwise, it would be strictly for non-revenue moves and emergency situations. |
