Agreed, however:Sometimes such double crossover lines are needed in case of an emergency. I would have it so when needed, double crossovers can be done that would for instance allow 6th Avenue trains to access the SAS if for instance there are problems either on CPW (B/D) or Queens Boulevard (F). Same reason as part of a Phase 2 extension across 125th Street (to Broadway-12th Avenue) if such were underground, it would include a connection to the St. Nicholas Avenue branch of the 8th Avenue line. |
