1. I brought it up again to show how the MTA constantly contradicts themselves.

2. Sloppiness on my part. No excuse for that one. I should have thought that one out a little more.

3. Someone pointed that out in the comments.

4. You are assuming that President's Day was a make-up for the weekend lost and that the day wasn't scheduled anyway. They could have just picked another weekend other than March 3-4.

5. I don't believe they are infested with bedbugs. There might have been a few sporadic cases but what do you expect with benches that are never maintained? They are "perfectly good". All they need is some varnish or polyurethane and maybe a little sanding and they would look like new. The MTA makes it seem like they are unsalvageable and if that were the case why would anyone buy one?
