If they were doing it north of 42nd. They wouldn't have to shut the entire line. Most of the Lex line north of 42nd st has the Express and Local tracks on different levels. They could shut down the Express tracks for 4 consecutive nights. Then the Next Quarter, they could shut down the Local Tracks for 4 consecutive nights. People will just have to get from 125th, 86th, and 59th streets.They could take the M15 SBS, and/or the M72, M96 etc to the West side subway lines. |
