Agreed. I believe that this could be accomplished if the shuttle were to be connected to hook up with the G. Then a tunnel should be built connecting Brooklyn with Manhattan at 23rd St. (Manhattan), with both the G and S being extended west on 23rd St. to Javits Center. (This hook=up would require closing the Court Square Station of the G.) Even in all the fantasy maps that have been posted and all of their fantastic subway line extensions in the outer boroughs, I don't recall any that show this, what seems to me to be an obvious biggest bang for the buck. |
