I have a question here that might merit an answer: If this line had been constructed along Pitkin Avenue, would the station at Cross Bay Boulevard have had as serious a curvature as the current path of Pitkin Avenue on either side of Cross Bay Boulevard indicates? Or would it have diverted along 133rd Avenue on its course eastward? The way that Pitkin Avenue bends at a 40° angle right at Cross Bay would indicate the likely need for gap fillers unless the station was situated wholly on either side of that road. Not sure if that would be advisable for an express/terminal type station (duly noting that it currently exists on one side of the Union Square station).

thanks in advance,
wayne

BTW I would suspect the tile would have been in the Green family at CBB, with yellow following at 105th.
