I think hands down still the best looking current EMU design running the rails ever!! The Metropolitan and Cosmopolitan M-Series (M-1/1A thru M-6)I will even give you a little of each!! Metropolitan Series: M-1A (Sadly I do not have my own photos of LIRR M-1s, but MNR's M-1A and LIRR M-1s look pretty much identical)  LIRR M-3  MNR M-3A (unrefurbished)  MNR M-3A (refurbished)  Cosmopolitan Series: MNR M-2  MNR M-4  MNR M-6  Though I do like the M-7/7As and M-8s (their designs grew on me), the Metropolitans and Cosmopolitans are the best of all time IMHO!! |
