Back in 1963 or 1964, when the "Q" was the express and the "QT" was the local, with the "QB" running local when the "Q" and "QT" weren't running, a subway buff friend told me that the "Q" was being discontinued. I made a poster with a drawing of either standards or triplexes labelled "Last Brighton Express" and attached it to the front window and rode what I believed was the last run of the line.
