How many tracks is there room for at Congers station . . . ? On Google Street View, looks like room for at least three. Whining CSX would have enough room for their single track if they put commuter rail back in, seriously. NJT's spur through the Meadowlands was supposed to connect with this RR, but the way they have that configured now, they'd have to "reconfigure" a few parking lots, and it'd be a very twisty route that would include a new bridge across the Hackensack River . . . |
