His cell camera is not good enough to take a picture of a subject in low light, or one that is not stationary, because it needs more light for the AF to function, and it functions much too slowly. Even some P/S cameras (really low end ones from off-name brands) have an issue like this. There's also shutter lag, which I've found is horrible on low-end cameras.I gave my son an old 3MP Minolta to use, I had to teach him to wait for the beep before moving, because the shutter lag is that bad, even with fresh batteries. I've got a memory card full of streaks... |
