E's didn't run to the Rockaways until around 1959, after both the E's and F's had been shortened to 10 cars in 1958.E trains started running to the Rockaways starting on or about June 28, 1956. On September 16, 1956 E's were cut back to Euclid Avenue while the A's took over the Rockaway through service. Almost two years later on September 8, 1958 E's were once again extended to the Rockaways. The operation of eleven car trains lasted from 1953 to 1957. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
