Also, when did the D start running to Church Ave, with the F being cut back to Bway-Lafayette - and did they not do that to start?Hi Lou: The date was October 30, 1954 which coincides with the hostile takeover by the IND of the BMT Culver Line between Ditmas Avenue and Coney Island. "D" train were extended to Coney Island via the Rutgers Street Tunnel 24/7 though certain trains were shortlined Church Avenue. The "F" was cut back to Broadway - Lafayette Street.
