I SCHOOL Naomi Wolf and Camille Paglia on the subject. You probably school Jessica Valenti too. A short list of male feminists here would include SMAZZA, Will D, AlM, WMATA, RIPTA, Dave, Selkirk, Tony G, Fred G, R Panse, Spider-Pig, 12-9, SUBWAYMAN, Elkeeper, CHIMM, Easy, and JayZeeBMT. |

I would like to say, in this thread, that a real man does not use a fitness tracker. Or diet tracker.A real man just lift. Just runs. Just eats. All this tracking stuff is for women. |

Just eats. That described me when I was younger. I'll pass on the 'real man' part; if my wife didn't complain I didn't worry. But ... serious, even serious amateur, bodybuilders are pretty compulsive in what they ate while they were training, and kept notebooks or whatever. Had a friend in Commack who did shows. If I asked him what he was eating for his next show I'd get an entire menu and recipes, including portions and cooking instructions. |

I'd have bought a dedicated fitness tracker if I engaged in regular exercise and didn't have it as a side feature of my current wristwatch. |

My daughter bought a fitness tracker -- she likes gadgets anyway. But it's improved her fitness even walking. It tracks her mileage and time (also route), so that she'll announce how many miles she walked in how much time. When she came back from [almost] five miles the dog was so pooped she crashed for a couple of hours.Point is she has more incentive when she can see what she did. Doesn't work for everyone though. |

Posted by LuchAAA on Fri Sep 2 16:09:30 2016, in response to Re: The Spider-Pig Diet II, posted by Spider-Pig on Fri Sep 2 15:50:52 2016. Good point.Today I'm eating, 2 eggs 1 avocado 1 sausage patty of southern raised pork 2 oz macadamia nuts 1 piece chocolate 1.25 lbs sweet potatoes 2 oz swiss cheese 5 oz peaches Broccoli and cucumber 4 oz wild caught cod Protein 75 g Carbs 125 g Fat 75 g That will be about 1,500 calories. Fat is my main macronutrient. My carbs come mainly from "safe starches". Very little sugar in my diet. Just the 13 g in peaches, and 3 g in the 85% chocolate. |
