But the one on Fordham Road did back in 2005. I haven't been there since, but heard it was renovated. In fact, that was only one of two times I've ever been to White Castle in my life. |

We hardly have any fast food restaurants like that out here. Even in the worst neighborhoods.In Florida, some Circle K locations close front doors at night and serve everything through a window. Then they don't get robbed for a while and stay open all night until a rash of robberies, or worse, a shooting, results in them closing at night again. Repeat cycle. Chinese take out joints in NYC high crime neighborhoods all have lots of bulletproof glass. So do the Kennedy Fried Chicken. |

I'm so pissed off about what happened to that dog, I didn't even stop in Brentwood. But I will go there in October to visit friends as I always do. But I did go to Robert Moses. Field 4 had a private party so everyone was crammed onto field 5. When leaving just before sundown, we saw a young fox crossing the road. Lots and lots of rabbits and deer too. |

Once upon a time, there was a RAFT of them from the IND exit all the way up to Fifth avenue ... some of them even rivalled the places down on Cortland Street. I don't remember the name of the place, I keep thinking "Leonard" but am not sure. They had a store on 45th too. And gout is absolutely no fun. Had some coworkers with it back when I was with the state. My sympathies there. |
