Once upon a time, there was a RAFT of them from the IND exit all the way up to Fifth avenue ... some of them even rivalled the places down on Cortland Street. I don't remember the name of the place, I keep thinking "Leonard" but am not sure. They had a store on 45th too. And gout is absolutely no fun. Had some coworkers with it back when I was with the state. My sympathies there. |
