So What's So Good About Ryan? |
|
|
Posted by Fred G on Sat Aug 11 13:37:12 2012 Since the OTChat Einstein Colony seems to think criticizing the choice is so hilarious, what is so good about the choice of Ryan? What's so good about him? How does he help Romney defeat Obama? What demographic is he going to help steal from the Obama side? your pal, Fred |

Indeed, the details of the Ryan plan (which won't even be implemented) will please seniors. No one over the age of 55 will have their benefits touched.http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/08/paul-ryans-2011-medicare-plan-a-primer/ However, Obamacare will lead to $500 billion in Medicare spending reductions for EVERYONE. |

The Medicare reductions in ACA are related to waste and unnecessary treatment. They do not in any way compromise care, nor prevent anyone from accessing the needed care. The Ryanvoucherplans will. Subscribers, meaning your parents and eventually YOU, will not only be paying absurd premium prices, but high copays as well. Many will forgo care in order to be able to eat or keep a roof over their head. So Ryanvoucherplan will bring back the death panels as well....through denied claims by insurers & rescissions. Don't forget, there's no Obamacare protections against the insurance companies in Ryanvoucherplan, because there's no ACA. |

Your questions, answered:1) He's probably headed to an early retirement. That's a good thing. He was promoting a dangerous budget that eviscerates not only Medicare, but Social Security, Medicaid, food programs including school lunches, education funding, aid to veterans, aid to localities and will NOT erase the deficit until 2040. 2) I don't know how handing off everyone over 50 to the President is going help Willard win. Ryan isn't all that popular even in his home state, and probably won't even deliver it. ![]() 3) Hard to say. Heartless bastards? Genuine pricks? Those 2 groups are already supporting Willard. He may pick up the mathematically inept.
