That's why the fairness doctrine was one of the things they got rid of first. After all, free advertising takes away from corporate media profit and exposes the public to unapproved thought.

As for a ConCon, I'd rather wait until after the nazis can't vote on it. It's congressfish that do that natty stuff until FOX has a package to sell at the polls. I'll wait until after the pool has had its shock treatment. :)

No, United Health'll cash that and exchange it for a claim denial.

Nah ... until Ryan wrestles with a grizzly bear and then quits, we're not quite there yet. :)

Palin was good to look at, plus she got a character on TV that had her dead to rights and was great to look at. Don't think Ryan will get that on SNL.

Palin was OK until she talked ... and you just KNOW that Ryan will be front and center on SNL's Halloween show the week before the election. Does anyone actually WATCH SNL anymore? :)

That may not sit well with under-55 voters, however...will they get their Social Security money back? As for the spending reductions in Medicare, even without PPACA, at least some it needs to be kept---America is careening towards the bankruptcy that Ryan himself has warned about.

The cuts to be made will not be pretty.

Then stop building aircraft carriers at 14 billion a piece. stop fighting over a piece of rock called afghanistan, even Russians could not do it.
Stop sending money to other countries, start taking care of our own citizens first, don't deny them what they paid for all their life.

Nate Silver says that Romney must have felt he had a losing position against Obama and so needed a real game changer. Well, here it is.

Nominating Jerry Sandusky would have been a game-changer too.
