Nobody will ever know for sure unless we get them. Everyone knows Obama's no intellectual, only Kool Aid drinkers still assert that. However, if he's "dumber than Bush", it would be very entertaining to watch the Left react. |

SAT scores have nothing to do with intelligence. SAT scores only show how well one does on the SAT test. They have no bearing on how well one will do in college, where the ability to write is what ultimately determines success. The rest of the academic skills set can be accommodated for with additional time. |

So what?Just remember that Harvard Law Review doesn't have an affirmative action program. Neither Obama nor Bush is dumb. Both have had times in their lives when they have been slackers and times when they've worked really hard. You can raise you SAT scores a lot if you work at it and the hints are that high school was a slacking off time for Obama. |

If Obama is what we suspect (a man of average intelligence who has profited from affirmative action) then it puts nearly half a century of social policy into question. I don't think SAT scores lower than W disqualifies Obama. We've had plenty of presidents who were not Ivy League material, some of them our best (Truman for example). The bigger picture is the whole concept of affirmative action. Should we continue to support a system which advances people on the basis of their skin color? To our own potential collective detriment? |

There is no way to correlate SAT scores and IQ. The SAT measures how much you learned in high school, not IQ. Seems like two people with the same IQ could score significantly different depending on the classes that they took in school. |
